How Does It Work?
Skinwave treatments follow a targeted three-step process. These steps together work to cleanse, hydrate, and nourish the skin. While a standard treatment can lead to general skin improvements, the treatment can also be completely customized to address and target specific concerns. During each step of the process, we will focus on the needs of your skin and any imperfections you want to treat to restore and promote optimal skin health.
First, we’ll use the device’s aqua delivery handpiece to perform hydrogen therapy. The device will deliver water infused with hydrogen directly into the skin, and as it does, hydrogen and oxygen will bond, penetrating the skin to increase moisture content and deliver antioxidants while reducing inflammation.
During the second step, we’ll remove impurities from the skin to promote clarity and balance. As the anti-aging and hydrating ingredients flood the pores, we’ll remove any impurities simultaneously and then use the right formula to nourish your skin. The Awaken formula is designed to cleanse and exfoliate the skin and eliminate buildup and debris from the pores without causing irritation. It contains licorice root extract, lactic acid, and glycolic acid.
The Clarify formula uses a combination of natural plant-derived enzymes, willow bark extract, and salicylic acid to regulate sebum production and unclog the pores. The Quench formula hydrates, nourishes, and heals the skin, strengthening the skin’s protective barrier with a combination of humectants, ceramides, and natural moisturizing factors.
During the third step, we utilize the device’s two additional handpieces to promote skin health and improve the overall appearance.
